The Natural Pool People was founded by Sarah and Elsie, long-term friends who first met in 2002 while touring the UK with Surfers Against Sewage. Sarah, a former professional surfer, and Elsie, a dedicated beach lifeguard, quickly bonded over their shared love of the ocean. Over the years, they pursued their own careers but stayed close, still surfing together most days. In 2023, they decided it was time to bring their knowledge and experience together, and The Natural Pool People was born.

Their shared passion for horticulture and hardscaping, combined with a strong work ethic and keen eye for detail, inspired them to explore the world of natural swimming pools and fully immerse themselves in the concepts and technology behind their construction.
